Pro-Life Rally In Washington Will Celebrate First Anniversary of the Reversal of Roe v. Wade

We recall that, after the angel Gabriel had departed after the Annunciation, Mary “went into the hill country with haste” to visit her cousin Elizabeth.

“And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.”

That’s right. Long before the ultrasound was invented, Elizabeth testified that John the Baptist “leaped in my womb for joy” when he sensed the presence of the babe in Mary’s womb – the babe who had been conceived no more that a fortnight before.

On Saturday, June 24, the Feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist, pro-life organizations will hold a “National Celebrate Life Day” rally and gala in Washington, D.C., the first anniversary of the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

The rally will be held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall from 10:30 a.m. to noon and will be co-hosted by SFLA, 40 Days for Life, Live Action, and Pro-Life Partners Foundation.
