As the pro-life message spreads more widely throughout the West, secular governments on the Left have concocted increasingly strident measures to prohibit any public manifestation of support for the unborn near the facilities dedicated to their extinction.
The Biden Administration prosecutes pro-life demonstrators as potential terrorists, and it is not alone: the United Kingdom and Ireland have criminalized not only pro-life demonstrations and counseling near abortuaries but also those suspected of praying silently in their vicinity.
So it’s good news that the Federal Administrative Court of Germany has ruled that pro-life advocates have the right to conduct prayer vigils outside abortion clinics. According to the judges, these peaceful demonstrations cannot be prohibited and are protected by the fundamental right to freedom of assembly.
